THE EXQUISITE TABLE

The Exquisite Table is an academic project created at IADT. It showcases local award winning chefs in the Pacific Northwest and pairing their recipes with the best of Washington wines. The book is targeted to the high end market of wine and cuisine connoisseurs.

The design of this book uses a grid system to layout the content of the pages. Special care was taken when choosing images to use for the book. They had to be appealing to a discriminating upscale audience. The design also included a cover layout that is visually interesting and will stand out on a book store shelf. The book’s content includes information about Washington wines, a gatefold spread, a history spread, and recipes by local award winning chefs.
